Natural Home Remedies – How To Eliminate Health Problems Naturally


The first thing I need to point out is that even natural remedies can have bad side effects if taken improperly. This is especially true if you are taking prescription medications. There is evidence that suggests honey works as well as over the counter cough medications. Also, honey is a really good options for children under a year old who can’t take store bought cough medicine.

Red grapes can help with wheezing. A simple drink made of and making a lemon, honey, 1/4 lemon, 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar 3 tbsps. honey1/4 tsp each of ginger and cayenne pepper can do wonders for clearing up that stuffy nose.

Just bring the liquid ingredients to a boil, add in the rest of ingredients let it cool and store it in a jar in a cool spot in your home. Shake it up and a teaspoon or so daily will help you breath again!

Colds

You can use the tonic recipe above to help with congestion the next time you get a cold. Another thing is eucalyptus rub on your chest can help with coughs and congestion. Most of us have used Vicks before. There are all natural options too.

Also beta carotene, from foods such as pumpkins, carrots, butternut squash and sweet potatoes is a great way to keep your immune system healthy before, during and after a cold.

Heartburn

There are several natural ways to eliminate heartburn. A change in diet is one of the easiest, but may not always be enough. You could also sleep in a more upright posture. Also sleeping on your left side may help relieve your hearburn.

Some natural remedies can also include a sip of pickle juice which can help balance the pH levels and eliminate your heartburn. Marshmallow root is another all natural alternative. Marshmallow root comes in capsule form.

Athletes Foot

This annoying fungus can be cured naturally. Add a few drops of tea tree oil to a tbsp. of olive oil and rub it onto your food daily for a few days.

Dandruff

If you have dandruff, there is a home remedy that works really well. Just massage 2 tbsps. of lemon juice directly onto your scalp the next time you shower. Rinse thoroughly. The acidity in the lemon juice can balance the pH level of your scalp and eliminate the dandruff.

Canker Sores

Gargle several times daily with a mixture of warm water and salt.

General Aches

Combine several drops of Frankincense with oil and use it as a massage oil. Apply to achy joints and see your pain disappear!

Headache

Capsaicin, found in cayenne pepper, is an ingredient found in many over the counter pain relievers. ¬†Cayenne pepper is helpful for relieving headaches because it decreases inflammation and increases circulation. Just add some cayenne pepper to food the next time you’re suffering from a headache.

Cramps

Cramps can be extremely painful and often occur during strenuous activity. The best way to prevent cramping is to drink plenty of water all day everyday. Believe it or not, a large portion of the population are dehydrated. Many people do not drink enough water during the day which makes them prone to cramping, among other health issues. The rule of thumb is that if you fell thirsty, you’re already dehydrated.

Acne

White heads can be eliminated by using tea tree oil. Find products that have a minimum of five percent of tea tree oil.

Bug Bites

Create a combination of olive oil and vinegar works well to alleviate the sting and itch of bug bites.

Poison Ivy

Add 1/2 cup of baking soda to a warm bath and take a nice long soak to alleviate the itching.

Fatigue

If you get plenty of sleep nightly but still feel drained during the day you may benefit from a vitamin D supplement.
